This site has a step-by-step process to set up printing from an iOS device to a networked Windows printer, but someone wrapped them all into an installer called AirPrint for Windows (x86 & x64) v1.3. There’s a good discussion of printing from iPad to Windows networked printers here. Finally, an app that runs on the iPad that lets you do the same. Costs $10 and runs on Mac and Windows. Reviews were good.
Recently someone wanted to know how to find great Apps for their iPad.
There are over a quarter million apps for iOS devices (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch) and Apple’s App Store doesn’t do a very good job at helping users find great Apps. Apple showcases Apps that are popular, either by number of downloads or by revenue. But that doesn’t mean they are any good.
The best web site I’ve seen for finding great Apps is AppAdvice. In their AppLists section you will find dozens of lists like Apps for Musicians, Apps for Trip Planning, Apps to Keep You Healthy and so on.
